Dr. Mark Goulston maintains his own practice and is an accomplished entrepreneur, corporate trainer (for GE, IBM, Time-Warner, Kodak, Federal Express and Merrill Lynch) UCLA's Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and one of Los Angeles’ preeminent and most respected couples psychotherapists, and an expert on relationships and human behavior.
Dr. Mark is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine
he received his post-graduate training in psychiatry at UCLA becoming Board Certified in
Psychiatry and Neurology in 1983. He was nominated and elected as a Fellow of the American
Psychiatric Association in 1995.

His early career focused on intervening with acutely suicidal
and terminally ill patients and has expanded this interest to provide hostage negotiation
training to the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. He served as an advisor to the
prosecution in the O.J. Simpson criminal trial and has also worked with HBO and MTV’s
REAL WORLD and ROAD RULES. |

Dr. Goulston is frequently featured as psychiatric expert on
social issues with ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and FOX and guest relationship expert on
most network talk shows including Oprah, TODAY and Leeza.
