One day I sat down in the erotica section at my local Barnes and Nobel.  They had 98 titles available and I went through each one.  Not one included purely heterosexual erotica!  Every single book included some form of homosexuality, statutory rape or other forms of sexual exploitation that didn't support marriage or a long-term love relationship.  Most of the books focused on sex, rather than sex as an important part of a love relationship.  Personally, I don't find that sexy.  The more you love a person, the better the sex gets.  Take love out of the equation and all you're left with is animal instinct.  There's nothing sensual about animal instinct.  It leaves the mental element out of the equation and your brain is the most powerful erogenous .  The question became, why can't erotica be stimulating, classy and support marriage or and long-term love relationships?

If you are a man or woman, you need sexuality.  It's part of what makes us human and frankly it's the fun part of being a couple. Erotica, unlike pornography, celebrates the intimacy within sexuality though stories, characters, situations and technique.  It's intellectual foreplay that unfolds within the theater of your mind.  Well written, erotica tantalizes, teases and can produce the same reaction those little blue pills, without the side affects, cost or stigma.  Plus, the arousal factor is shared.  You both get turned on!
 

Long distance foreplay   So, on that April morning I sat down and started writing the first story, Seduction's Sun.  Two weeks later I finished it and mailed it to my boyfriend.   Two days after that, a plane ticket arrived and he flew me out to Charlotte for a romantic weekend. Thinking to myself, that worked pretty good, I started on the second story: The Marionette.  Again I sent it to him by mail and again, a few days later a plane ticket showed up.  Hmm.  Write a story, get a plane ticket, have a fabulous romantic weekend...this was something I could get used to!  Within three months I had six stories and a book.

Through narrative and suggestion, the story caught on and the men would instinctively use these techniques on their wives or girlfriends and they too finally had orgasms.  This gave the sexual component of the relationship new life.
